HN 4-6" observed between 1000 and 1500. Snowfall intensity increased around 1100 and then cleared from about 1300 to 14000 and then it picked up again. Winds were gusty, with strong pulses observed out of the South. We observed blowing and depositing snow on lee features.

The 4-6" of new snow improved ridibng conditions drasticly. The quality between our first run around 1100 and our second around 1400 was much improved despite only recieving a 6" total.
First turns off ridgeline we were exposed to drifting snow. Found shallow wind skin forming on lee features and saw small cornices beging to form.

Did not observe any shooting cracks, and were not able to get any old windslabs to pop. All seemed quite welded into place where we traveled although we were in primarily sheltered terrain except for the top of our runs which was the 10420 Ridgeline.
Comments
The snowline seemed to be hovering at 7000' when we drove down around 1500.
